A coastal home doesn’t need to shout to make an impression. This one draws instead on British Colonial and Hamptons design, with a West Indies influence, to land somewhere quietly assured.
Designed by Jared Poole Design, the residence integrates functionality, aesthetics, and the nuances of a family’s lifestyle, creating a haven for a young family and a sophisticated backdrop for gatherings.
Signature touches by Jared Poole Design carry the sense of luxury and refinement through the home. Weatherboard cladding adds elegance and depth, while balustrades, columns, and shutters enhance the tropical-classic fusion, evoking a relaxed escapism reminiscent of the Bahamas.
HAMPTONS AND BRITISH COLONIAL DESIGN ON A NARROW COASTAL BLOCK
Situated on an elevated, narrow block, the home’s design maximises its compact footprint while maintaining balance and proportion, showcasing the Jared Poole Design team’s mastery of spatial planning and attention to detail.
At the heart of the project is a deep understanding of the client’s needs and aspirations. The design fosters togetherness and shared experiences, encouraging family bonding and enjoyment of the surroundings. The home is also built for entertaining, with its seamless indoor-outdoor integration and generous lifestyle spaces.
COASTAL HOME DESIGN: CLASSIC FEATURES AND STANDOUT SPACES
“I am in constant awe of the ability of this home to create an immersive experience, with the wow-factor of our studio’s signature design features, while meeting the functionality requirements of the owners,” says Jared Poole, Director of Jared Poole Design. “Personally, I feel the elegance of classic features such as custom cornices, cathedral ceilings, dormer windows, and stone bench tops are the standout features. And this particular project has so many spaces that I am extremely fond of, specifically the luxury poolside pavilion and the versatility of the bathroom design.”
Jared Poole Design has blended British Colonial and Hamptons design with West Indies charm to create this coastal retreat. From the weathered elegance of the exterior to the interior details, every element is meticulously crafted.
