The private balcony frames Cape Byron Lighthouse — Australia’s easternmost point and an iconic landmark — and yes, there’s an antique clawfoot bathtub out there for golden-hour soaks. Inside, everything feels considered but not precious: a king-sized bed with beautiful organic linens, ceramics by local artist Madhavi Muncie, and furniture from London’s Maker & Son that brings a touch of European sophistication to this luxury Byron Bay retreat. Thoughtful extras like Deiji bathrobes and locally made tote bags add that little something special without feeling over-designed.
