“We have always loved the tropics and living in North Queensland. So choosing our new name was easy,” says Kerrie Keech, owner and creator of the new Tropic Living stores. “Not only do our new retail stores have a lovely, relaxed tropical feel, with all of the products that we choose to showcase, we also source products that specifically handle the tropical conditions.”
Kerrie continues to search for all of the one-off pieces from India, China, Indonesia, Philippines and other locations, and Tropic Living\’s Townsville and Mackay stores have regular popular lines which are custom-made. “We also have a few new ranges coming in, which includes a fabulous outdoor range which really suits our outdoor lifestyle.”
British Colonial, Hamptons, Coastal, Tribal and modern furniture and accessories are just a few of the styles and look you\’ll find at the new Tropic Living stores – but Kerrie says there is so much more yet to arrive.
“Our Tropic Living stores are all about the journey. Whether it be our journey to source special pieces, our customers\’ journey as they take their time to enjoy our stores or the journey to the tropic\’s that we try to capture in our homes.”
Tropic Living\’s new website will be available soon, but in the meantime, enjoy their Facebook and Instagram feed, which capture their special finds. Tropic Living is a North Queensland business. However, they can arrange delivery to most areas within Australia. New locations are planned for the future and opportunities are available to become a part of their Tropical Living buying program.
