Carpenter and joinery artisan Gareth Robertson honed his craft as an established carpenter of 10 years working on high-end residential renovations. He extends his affinity for joinery and custom-designed furniture to the impressive pieces created through his studio, Blackwood Collective.

Each furniture piece by Blackwood Collective is handmade and encapsulates the distinct characteristics of the species of timber from which it is made, including Walnut timber and Tasmanian Blackwood (the name, “Blackwood Collective,” is a tribute to this, Gareth’s favourite timber).

As well as their range of furniture, Blackwood Collective has an extensive portfolio of work crafting bespoke and custom joinery for some of Queensland’s leading Architects and Interior Designers.
