Squeeze in One More Taste – The Curated Plate Wraps Up This Weekend
The Sunshine Coast’s signature food festival, The Curated Plate, is nearing its final course – but there’s still time to savour the flavours. Now one week in, this vibrant celebration of Queensland’s best producers, chefs and ingredients wraps up this weekend, and it’s not to be missed.
Launched with a lush farm-to-fork experience in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the festival opened with culinary director Peter Kuruvita leading guests through a day of food, flavour and connection. Picture wandering through rolling farmland, meeting passionate local growers, then settling in for a long lunch of seasonal dishes paired with local brews and a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon ride. It’s been a feast for the senses from day one.
“The Curated Plate is a celebration of everything that makes this region so special – from our incredible local produce to the people who grow, catch and cook it,” says Kuruvita.
With over 50 unique events across ten days, the festival brings together bold flavours, cultural diversity, and Queensland hospitality at its finest. And while the final weekend is fast approaching, there are still a few delicious experiences left to enjoy on the festival program.
