The Lane range by cutting edge British designers, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, has been inspired by the neighbourhoods and architecture of their hometown of London, with three styles: Base (in White, Black, Grey, Aubergine and Terracotta), Poly (in contrasting colourways) and Mono (in White and Black only). The designers have also created the porcelain Primavera tiles, a contrast between the natural and the artificial world, reproduced as a slab that resembles elements found in nature with imperfections on the surface.
Dutch industrial designer Hella Jongerius has contributed to the new Mutina tile collection with the Diarama design, characterised by a wide range of chromatic shades. The collection is composed of various glazed colour references, applied on seven different matt coloured clay basis.
Complemented the group is Diarama in black and white, where different coloured glazes have been applied on the same black or grey base, creating Black Chroma and Grey Chroma, with a matt stripe of coloured clay down the middle to create a contrast with the polished surface.
