Finely detailed cabinetry adds the finishing touch to this luxury home

The room layouts and cabinetry had already been designed by the architect, Harry Poulus, in this Hamptons-inspired home, when the clients approached Enigma Interiors to handle the extensive cabinetry installation across multiple living zones in the house.

“The project came to us through a referral from the builder, with whom we had worked on similar high-end projects in the past,” says Alan Kelly from Enigma Interiors. “We tweaked some areas of the design where we thought necessary and to give it our ‘Enigma Stamp’. Once you get to know your client’s style, their everyday living and entertaining needs, it’s essential to show them all the appropriate options of design, colour, and texture.”

Enigma Interiors has used a Shaker profile and satin-finished 2pac for the cabinetry, with handmade detailing to the kitchen island pilasters, custom-designed to anchor the corners of both of the generous kitchen islands.

The two kitchen islands make the kitchen proportionate with the abundance of space available. “One functions as a central preparation bench while the larger L-shaped island is the perfect entertainment and casual dining element,” says Alan of the design.

Blum Legrabox drawers, Hepburn Hardware handles, honed Cararra Marble and Jet Black Granite benchtops with a 60mm profiled edge detail, rebated warm LED strips to underside of wall cabinets and a custom-designed TV entertainment unit complete the sleek and functional open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room.

“The attention to detail and quality of cabinetry flows throughout the home, including the bar/media room cabinetry, all cabinets and vanities in the bathrooms and powder room, walk-in robes and fireplace cabinetry – even extending to outdoor spaces like the tennis pavilion,” says Alan. “We’ve been able to add all the finest touches of luxury, style and practicality to help create a stunning Hamptons-style home for our clients.”

In the end, it was a successful collaboration of experts that fulfilled the brief for this luxurious home, with a joint effort from Enigma Interiors and Harry Poulus (architects), Tuscany Stone (benchtops), Ascot Living (interior design), and Joy Constructions (builder).
