“The artwork that we have featured in the new bedroom display in the store was the inspiration for this new showcase of furniture, and we are tickled pink with what we pulled together for our customers,” says Tropic Living\’s owner, Kerrie Keech.
“We sourced this art from a wonderful Australian artist, whom we are incredibly proud to stock in our store. Her blend of colours is just amazing. This piece is just one of the many art pieces we have had in our art offerings at Tropic Living.”
The bed linen and the cushions are a mix of what Tropic Living have in store from their suppliers in Australia and Indonesia.
We also adore the Pacific Buffet, which is a standout piece in Tropic Living\’s latest furniture collection – a handcrafted piece manufactured from Mango timber, with a natural finish that highlights the wood\’s beautiful grain. “It\’s a perfect furniture piece that can blend with many different interior styles, and there are several matching pieces available at Tropic Living, including a stunning dining table, to carry the same style throughout the home” adds Kerrie.

Navigating the hardships of Covid-19 and the huge impact it has had on their suppliers in Indonesia and beyond, Kerrie says this new collection brings home her appreciation for the people and artisans Tropic Living work so closely with around the world.
“It is a good time to highlight and thank all the amazing suppliers that we gather our furniture and accessories from to showcase in our Townsville store. In these strange times, we are so grateful to have so many loyal suppliers still a part of our sourcing team – and they are ones that we have worked together with for the past 17 years – keeping all our dreams alive!”
