Our design-loving hearts skipped a beat when we heard that style icon, Sophie Bell from Peppa Hart, was collaborating with boutique tile and lighting company Three Balls Red on a European-inspired tile collection. The uber-limited Paradiso collection consequently sold out in record time — but it’s just been re-stocked, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Inspired by Sophie’s travels and the charm and laidback lifestyle of Italy and Greece, the ceramic Paradiso tiles feature Sophie’s hand-drawn artwork and were printed locally in Queensland.
The exclusive range includes five tile designs — Paloma, Lola Check, Mimi, Cisco and Coco — all designed to look as though they were sourced in a European villa.
“I am so inspired by Europe, and I use suns and patterns that I have seen on travels overseas in all of my work,” says Sophie. “I love for art and homewares to feel old and have character. I feel like we could have found these tiles in an old villa in Formentera. The organic edges, the colours, the patterns — looking at them makes me feel so happy. I miss travelling so, for me, these tiles feel like a little slice of Europe in our own home.”
You can see the tiles showcased in Sophie’s own custom adults’ cubby house at Casa Campana, which boasts a margarita bar and day bed.
